About me🌸

Thank you for reaching out to Japalog🇯🇵✨

This blog provides you all with much useful information about Japan; it would be about Tourist information🗻, Culture and food👘🍡, and 2020 Tokyo Olympics🏅!

First of all, I would like to introduce about myself a little bit👯

I am Ayaka from Japan, who is 28 years old. I was born in Greater Tokyo area and grew up in Tokyo. In December 2015, I moved to New York because of my husband’s job transfer.

I started my career at one of Big 4 accounting firms as CPA (Certified Public Accountant). After I engaged in audits of financial statements for 4 years, I shifted my career to internal audit in an insurance company.🤓

While I am still working as an internal auditor, I was a volunteer guide of Tokyo for tourists from outside Japan until my movement🗼👣

Through this volunteering experience, I realized that I love to tell people about my beautiful country🗾💚

I studied again about everything such as Japanese history and traditional culture, and passed the national exam for Certified Japanese translator/interpreter in 2015📝✨

After I moved to NYC, I sadly realized that Japan is such a small isolated country. People all over the world don’t have much information about my country, though we have unique traditional culture that we are strongly proud of👘🍵

That’s why I started my blog – Japalog🇯🇵✨

I would like to share the very local information that only Japanese knows. I would be happy to help you all to get to know my beautiful country🎌💛

If there are any specific topics you would like me to share with, please do not hesitate to contact me!

See you soon! ありがとう (Arigato)🌸
